friendly yin yoga
Yin is a gentle and very effective style of yoga that is designed to complement more active forms of exercise. It increases the resilience of connective tissue (fascia) around muscles and joints, and decreases physical and mental tension. Yin is beginner-friendly and also helpful for experienced yogis and athletes. The best way to learn more is to give it a try! (Please note that these practices are for adults and older teens. If you are interested in my kids’ yoga classes, you can find out more here.)
I lead small in-person yin practices in my home studio in Groton, MA. Email me for a handy-dandy password and sign up for an in-person group practice or private session.
I lead yin practice yin online via Zoom. These classes are now offered on an occasional pop-up schedule.
Upcoming classes:
Tuesday, November 5, 7-9pm ET
Sunday, November 10, 8-9pm ET
Thursday, November 8-9pm ET
There’s no need to sign up for online classes, and you can find the link for class here.
Recordings of classes are currently available on Vimeo (search for Friendly Yoga).
Unless otherwise noted, my yin teaching is donation-based. Get yourself onto your mat, practice, and pay what feels right to you. Most people contribute $10-$20/practice in-person and $5-$15/practice online.
